Jung Hoseok, known by his stage name J-Hope, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, singer, dancer, and producer. In 2013 he debuted as a member of the BTS group under the Big Hit Music company.
J-Hope released his first mixtape, Hope World, on March 2, 2018. On September 27, 2019, he released the song "Chicken Noodle Soup," which featured American singer Becky G. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the first member of BTS to enter the chart as a solo artist.
